The Blog (or: Why The Blog?)
I want to get online! I need a computer.

There's a certain expectation when you start up a new blog in the year of our Lord 2022 that you have something profound to share with the world, or else you simply hate Twitter.
Nah, I kid.
There's no expectations at all for blogs in any year, least of all this one. It's a blog. It has my inane (or insane) ramblings about whatever I feel like writing about today in some way that will be forever-ish enshrined upon cyberspace. It's a virtual tombstone whereupon I write my own eulogies. Not for myself, but for whatever dumb thoughts are about to pass out of my head and be lost to time forever to make room for even dumber thoughts.
At this point in my life, I have a great many projects and ideas. I'd like to create a videogame. I have yet to start.
I'd like to write a book this month. Just a short one. I have moderate hopes that I can, at the very least, write a whole mess of words.
I'd like to get my damned blog working, and here we are. So that one's gone well enough.
Work is draining, as it always has been and likely always will be. So it goes. Bills and all that.
In an effort to pull this post to a close, I'll simply say that this blog will be breaking no new ground, and will not defy even one expectation. But it will, at the very least, provide something to trivially occupy myself with if I become terminally bored.
